As owner and operator of SMP Outdoors, Shay Mann has all the tools to guide
this venture to the next
level. I fully endorse and believe in SMP Outdoors. Prior to Shay beginning
this successful endeavor, we spent many hours together and covered many
miles in some of the West's roughest backcountry. Not only was he game for
any and all challenges, but while he was tired and beat down from packing 50
+ lbs. of food and gear for miles at a time, Shay was still able to step up
to the plate and help me capture some of the most powerful and poignant
photography the hunting industry has seen.
On one trip in particular, we drove 9 hours from home to the mountains,
packed in 16 miles one day, packed out 16 miles the next day, and then drove
home. Shay was a true gamer on this trip and every other brutal trip we
shared. All of this travel put us right in the middle of Oregon's most
remote and beautiful wilderness area. During the few hours we were in the
backcountry, we captured images which were featured in BowTech's 2004
catalog/calendar, photos which have been in national magazine ads, images
which have been used as magazine covers, as well as for product catalogs for Robinson Labs and PSE Archery Inc.
One captured image, now a
10' x 8' glory, is showcased on the side of PSE Archery Inc.'s semi truck and trailer. All of this from one shoot. And
the only reason we captured these incredible images, was because Shay was
there.
Also, Shay has filmed for me on a couple of occasions capturing footage good
enough for us to use as featured segments on the
Eastmans' Hunting Journal Television Show and the video Eastmans' Bowhunting
Volume II. His video compilation skills are right on the money too. He has
put together powerful presentations for me (which highlight much of his
videography work and post production), which I have used at my speaking
engagements from California, throughout Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Utah,
Denver and Phoenix.
Shay and SMP Outdoors provided me with the tools I needed to become
successful and they can do the same for you.

SMP Outdoors was my third try at getting my web site going; maybe I'm the difficult one. Then again when I spend my hard earned money I want things right and that is exactly what SMP Outdoors has done, they got it right.
